Hi,
o Meanwhile there are five people who are willing to help on Saturday
(see [1])
o Myriam agreed to collect the stuff from Düsseldorf (we're waiting for
approval from the office)
o Is there anyone able to bring a nice PC for presentation? I have only
an ugly medium tower and a 17" CRT myself. The system must be able to
run completely on Free Software, naturally
o Network will probably be done via WLAN _only_, so don't expect too much!
o Should Ethernet be available, does anyone have a small hub/switch?
o There will be the possibility to watch the soccer WM -- at least games
with german participation
o Assembly of the booth is possible at Friday already
o It is not known yet whether we can store things safely overnight
o We'll get three tables and as many chairs as we wish
o Parking is gratis near the FH (where FrOSCon takes place) or near the
shopping centre ("HUMA Einkaufspark"). Have a look at the map [2]
o Exhibitor passes will be issued by the organizers (I'm asking for details)
o It is possible to bring your DECT/GAP compatible [3] cordless phone
(not mobile phone) or SIP/IAX phone and register it with [4] so you can
a) call all the world without fee and b) be called at the fair. I've
never used this before, so I don't know how reliably this works. If it
works, you'll be able to call me under 3733 ("FSFE").
With best wishes and looking forward for FrOSCon
Michael
