Pues para empezar dando ejemplo, aquí hago la minipresentación:
* Zona geográfica: Bilbao y alrededores
* Actividades relacionadas con sw libre en la actualidad: principalmente desde el grupo universitario itsas (http://itsas.ehu.es) de la UPV/EHU, donde organizamos jornadas varias a lo largo del año. Como profesor a tiempo parcial en Ingeniería de Teleco, trato de fomentar el uso de software libre en las distintas asignaturas que imparto. Y ahora que el resto del tiempo trabajo como autónomo o freelance / friki-lance, trato de vender soluciones sólo libres en la medida de lo posible. Y también tengo un blog ( http://danitxu.com) en el que suelto mis chapas sobre estos temas. Desde la reunión de la EuskalEncounter con la FSFE me toca de coordinador de la zona cantabrona, pero ojo: sólo por 6 meses, y luego pasa el turno.
* Aún no soy socio de la FSFE, pero espero serlo en esta semana.

Más cosas de funcionamiento: -Veis que ya está creada la lista cantabrico. Como administradores también están Heyneken y Alejandra (se presenten, coño :). Para escribir de forma sencilla al coordinador, que lo preguntó Javi en su día, se puede usar el alias cantabrico-owner@lists.fsfe.org aunque en mi caso preferiría correos directos. -Sobre la wiki, en cuanto sepamos quiénes somos socios, podemos distribuirnos el trabajo de publicar en el wiki de la FSFE. Creo que sería el espacio más "natural", en lugar de reinventar la rueda.
Creo que lo que más urge ahora, además de las presentaciones, es ver qué movimiento vamos a hacer el 17-sep en nuestra zona. Parece que en Coruña se organiza algo... http://softwarefreedomday.org/map/ En mi caso ese día tengo una boda y no voy a poder participar, ¿cómo lo veis el resto para hacer algo?

Otro de Bilbao (hay alguien en la lista de fuera de la capital del mundo?) . Mi nombre es Ugaitz, prostituyo mi tiempo de trabajo en una "pequeña" empresa de hosting, como aspirante a botones.
Actualmente participo en el grupo de guifi-eh con intención de extender el proyecto de guifi (la red libre abierta y neutral) por la zona, también me interesan temas de hardware y software libre. Tambien soy clerigo a tiempo parcial xD pero ese finde no tengo ninguna boda, toma! EXITO!!!

Después de la orden de Dani, quién soy yo para no presentarme. Soy Alejandra aka Aiween y me ha tocado el gran honor- marrón de administrar la lista así que aprovecho la presentación para daros unas pequeñas instrucciones. * El idioma de la lista será el castellano debido a que la zona geográfica a la que llegamos es todo el cantábrico así que aunque hablemos gallego, bable, euskera o klingon por favor todo en castellano. * Al primero que empiece a insultar lo mando a la calle por abusón. * Las MAYUSCULAS son para gritar así que cuidado con abusar de ellas. * Es aconsejable en el Asunto del mail poner entre corchetes [Cantabrico] y tema principal que sino las reglas del correo no funcionan y aquí una se despista entre tanto mail * No mandéis adjuntos a la lista, poner un enlace donde el archivo está alojado. Muchos accedemos al correo desde el móvil y las tarifas de datos no dan para ir descargando archivos de 2 megas lleno de dibujitos * El único spam que se admite es este: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZ6N5m8FpVghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZ6N5m8FpVg En breve pondremos las reglas en la wiki pero como veis son típicas nettiquete.

Además trabajo como investigadora en Tecnalia donde estoy implicada en proyectos de investigación donde el Open Source tiene un papel principal. * Me encanta viajar y danitxu ya me pone como organizadora de viajes de trasfondo sw libre. Este año el viaje al Fosdem vamos a tratar de organizarlo con más de una semana de antelación que sino no voy a lograr superarme.
17 de septiembre Por ahora está vacío en el calendario. No puedo organizar más eventos, ya estoy hasta el cuello organizando (autobombo) el Eclipse Embedded Day (http://www.tecnalia.com/eclipse2011 ) al que os invito a asistir a todos. En breve os mandaré detalles.
