I just put the following article online and made sure to email it to some of the "usual suspects" from IBM, Sun, and Google in particular.
Also put it forward on the IGF DCOS list and A2K.
Shane and myself discussed this and took this somewhat inofficial and unobtrusive approach so people could give feedback without having to go into official statement mode -- also we think it is better for this not to be identified with a certain person or group, in particular to increase acceptance.
Let's see what kind of reactions we get.
