Hi all,
I am not sure whether the person maintaining the web site is already
subscribed to the list since I have seen no traffic so far, but there
are some things that need updating on www.certifiedopen.com.
This should be done immediately:
a) the FSFE logo is outdated, this one should be used:
b) the site talks about special offer since 28 May 2007, but things
do not work yet.
c) the site mentions the skills tracker, which we meanwhile put on
hold for the launch until we can redo it properly. So it should be
removed from the index page, and the menu item "competency" should
be removed.
d) the links "read more" lead to nothingness, please either put
information from the latest version of the principles, or remove
text leading to the links.
e) please add to main page:
"The CertifiedOpen framework is currently being implemented, and
we expect it to go online in August 2007 for a test period to
debug the system. We hope to put it into full productive use by
late 2007.
If you are interested to support the buildup, or would like to be
informed of the opening of the platform, please write to
steering(a)certifiedopen.com"
Or something to this extent.
This has a little more time:
f) we should find third-party information about interoperability to
highlight why this is important
g) the standard plone layout is not very nice. are we planning to
redo this in a nicer way?
Regards,
Georg
