Dear designer team,
I need some help with two simple graphics for the web page: we want to add size information for T-shirts and hoodies, and the graphics should explain how it is measured. I have attached a rough sketch of how they should look like.
I would be very happy if somebody could make this: * two separate scalable SVG (vector) graphics * all lines in black, background transparent * more beautiful than my sketch ;-) * note the "a" measurement should be right below the armpits * the measurement lines dashed or dotted for clarity * obviously under a free license
Please keep me in CC as I'm not subscribed to this mailing list.
Thank you very much in advance!
Best,
Hi Reinhard,
I hope this is useful:

as I found out that this mailing list is quite inactive, I tried to come up with something myself.
Thanks,

Argh! Right after I wrote this email, Yvan (thank you!!) forwarded the email to me in which Franz presented his work. I'm so sorry that I did not see this before.
You can see the graphic used here: https://fsfe.org/order/order.en.html (when you move the mouse pointer over "S" or "M" etc. of any T-shirt) and here: https://fsfe.org/order/sizes.en.html
Without doubt, the images which Franz has made look way better, and I considered replacing my drawings with his, however, they are somewhat less readable in the smaller version (used in the popups on the order page), so for now I decided to stick with what is there now.
Franz, I'm very sorry that we seem to have duplicated work due to a miscommunication. :-(( I owe you a drink of your choice next time we'll meet.

I didn't know how you want to use it. It should be easy to adapt my designs to fit your purpose ...

No, I am sorry. I was convinced that I've sent you the links also. I must have messed that up.
I made adapted versions (attached) that should work better in small size.
Cheers, Franz

Yes, I see that I should have been more specific when asking for the design.

Great, thank you so much! I just exchanged the graphics, the order page and the size chart now use your version.
Thank you very much for your help!

Jan-Christoph also said that he would monitor and encourage the use of Discourse for interested designers: https://community.fsfe.org/c/activities/design
Jan-Christoph, do you want to add something?
