Dear designers and legal team, Dear Erik,
In March I created a visually new version[1] of the free software and tools leaflet. It is now designed according to our new website layout (colours and fonts). I used text from the English and old and new German version. The German text is currently being revised and I would like to incorporate some of the new text as well.
The source file[2] is also available.
Erik: I would like to inform you about this before the old ones get printed again. I hope we can join forces here and create a visually more appealing leaflet with a revised text.
My question for designers: How does it look? Do you have any suggestions on how to improve the design.
For the legal team: How is the contribution done right? I don't know about the original author. Also I'm not sure if it's okay to put my name on it this way.

Umweltdruckerei is a green print shop around Hannover. Basically I would like to get a bunch printed there and use them on events and share them with the Munich Fellowship group which I attend to occasionally. But before I do that I would like to ask for your approval and consult if I need to change the text. Of course: If everything approves you may use the flyer as you wish. I would put them in public domain or use a creative commons license; whichever fits the fsfe best.
Many kind regards,
Phil

Unfortunately, as you then might have noticed, is that we already set up a new version of the tool-flyer. Basically it is a new text but using the old design. I would also stick to using the old design, because we now have a lot of flyer in this design: f-droid, tool, dfd And I like it : )
of course, we can make exceptions (for example the gnupg-flyer and the drm), but in general I would stick to that design for some kind of corporate design.

we will not reproduce the old ones, but the idea is to use a new text with the old design.

Actually I think it is a good design for Fellowship groups to print for themselves, as the background is white. For a professional print I prefer to use background colors etc.
Best, Erik
