I recently installed the Mandrake 8.1beta2, from the "free" disk set.
There was first a License file with an "acceptance" check box that had to be clicked.
The license also stated that any disputes if any would be handled by court in Paris.
Is this actually compatible with the GNU license of all the files on these disks? These where the same points why the Python license had to be changed, otherwise there was a problem of distributing Python with GNU software.
Is Mandrake violating the GNU license?
I am not a lawyer - just curious.
