Hi,
I'm looking for a GPL-licensed SIP client for MacOS to suggest to my friends. I've found "Blink" [1], which, according to Wikipedia is licensed under GPLv3 [2]. Does anyone know this tool or has any experience with it?
Thanks, Pb

Hey Pb,
I don’t have experience with Blink and can only judge from the download page / Wikipedia.
I generally suggest Jitsi (formerly SIP Communicator): http://jitsi.org It is licensed under LGPL, multi-platform from the start instead of having just ports, available in more languages and also supports other messaging protocols such as XMPP (and ICQ, AIM, YIM for those of your friends still stuck on them).

I just checked the Jitsi website. Looks good. Thanks a lot for this tip - Will check it out!
