Hello,
I wanted to ask if there available in svg or 300dpi logos of the fsf europe and fellowship? I wanted to use them on my ID card to promote foundation and the fellowship.
Is there some layout of the ID card which I need to use or am I free to design it?

Good idea! For the Fellowship artwork look here:
http://fsfe.org/en/fun/artwork
I saw FSFEurope logos somewhere on the web but I can't remember now.

I don't know if there is a standard layout because I am not part of the FSFEurope staff. You should ask our president Georg Greve or maybe Stefano Maffulli.
I have a question about this topic too.
Is it correct for us (fellows) to put on our business cards the FSFE artwork or it makes confusion because we are not entitled to speak for FSFE in an "official" way?

Go ahead and spread the plussy. I can't see any problem with it and I would trust all fellows to correctly present the goals of the FS movement (even if they accidently call it Open Source or skip the GNU in the OS's name).
But well, I am just a plain FSFE member and the board may have a different opinion.
Shalom-Salam,

I totally agree: go ahead and use Plussy as you see fit. It's actually a very simple graphics to reproduce anyway. You can find online two svg files where you can get the basic forms (3 squares and two rectangles) with the right color (well... professional designers can argue :-P)
http://fsfe.org/en/content/download/31841/197648/file/plussy-xmas.svg http://fsfe.org/en/content/download/32898/203432/file/renassaince-plussy.svg
I don't have time to do it myself, but you can upload a svg with a basic plussy without extras.
Playing with blender I have also made a 3D plussy character, with simple bones to animate. You find it here: http://fsfe.org/en/fun/artwork/other_stuff Take them and play with graphics as you prefer. That part of the site is writeable to all Fellows, so feel free to upload new content :)

With emphasis on 'accidentally' :)
Cheers stef
Ok fellowship and the plussy is clear, but I do not see anywhere a fsfe sign and name logo beside of that on fsfeurope.org site which is quite small, maybe this is possible to make it svg ... I'll try today on the afternoon

We have an SVG version, I just don't know whether it's online anywhere.
Maybe somebody else reading on this list knows more.
Thanks, Reinhard

I think everyone's been waiting for someone else to put it online.
So here it is: http://fsfe.org/en/fun/artwork/materials
There's just one file there right now. It's the Fellowship logo ("Fellowship of FSFE" and a plussy) in 5 colour combinations.
It's in .eps format. Evince wasn't able to display this for me, but KGhostView could.

Ciaran I was talking about Free Software Foundation Europe Logo not the Fellowship of the FSFE.
What font type is used for FSFE logo? I tried all I have in my system and noone looks the same.

Nimbus Sans L, IIRC.
You should find it in the free fonts for ghostscript.
