Hi everyone,
My small side project www.fossjobs.net was featured on HackerNews today, which brought in a bunch of new nice job postings. I don't think I ever posted the link here, so why not do it now, with all the fresh offers. :-)
In contrast to FSF's job board, listings are free on fossjobs, and the site is also Free Software itself. ;-)

Interesting, thanks for the link. Do you also remove the outdated job offers regularly? Some are from 2015 or even older...

No, I don't want to remove them, at least not completely. One of the goals of the site is to show people outside of FOSS that there are in fact "real" jobs, something that I found surprisingly hard to convey in many conversations, and also, as an archive of interesting organizations to look at to inspire who to get in touch with.
I agree that older jobs could be "faded out" a little after a while, and maybe separated into an archive. A first step towards that would be to add an Expiry Date and a default of, say, 2 months, would maybe make the age more obvious to casual visitors. I don't invest a lot of time in fossjobs, and I did not write the underlying (now unmaintained) jobs board. For me, adding jobs is more important, but at least there's a ticket about this now: https://github.com/fossjobs/fossjobs/issues/14
There's another ticket about potentially replacing Jobberbase with some other jobs board: https://github.com/fossjobs/fossjobs/issues/16

Well done!

Even better!
I found one issue with the site which I've reported via the site's contact form. My only complaint is that I wish I'd known about the site earlier. ;-)

Nice work, any chance you could create another, similar, site to rate recruiters? RateARecruiter.com?

Great work, I will look in to linking to this from a few websites i am involved with namly the Devon and Cornwall LUG, torbay tech jam and my own personal website.
Rate recruiter. just a thought perhaps the rating thing could be integrated in to the site, that way others can see at a glance how good or bad an employer is, however I can see legal implications here as sites such as trip advisor have been victims of dodgy reviews or reviews by people with a grudge.
As an extension perhaps there could be also listings for volunteer vacancies too, sometimes a good way to get work experience, or companies willing to offer work experience , internships etc.
Just a few ideas, but keep up the good work :)
