morgen abend habe ich in München die Ehre im Rahmen des Developer Meet&Make
[1] den ersten Vortrag [2] in einer Reihe von Lightning-Talks zu halten. Ich
werde in den mir gegeben 5 Minuten das Fellowship und die FSFE vorstellen.

Developer Meet & Make statt. Die Veranstalter schreiben dazu:

Hallo Leute,
Freundis von mir arbeiten in einem internationalen Team von Leuten, das
gemeinsam Texte bearbeitet. Bisher haben sie Google Docs dafür
eingesetzt. Weil glücklicher weise doch Leute unter ihnen Bedenken wegen
der Nutzung von diesen Google Diensten haben, wurde ich jetzt gefragt ob
ich Alternativen dafür kenne.
Sie wollen gemeinsam Texte bearbeiten - und wohl auch rudimentär
formatieren. Dabei sollen manche volle Zugriffsrechte haben und andere
nur Kommentare schreiben können.
Mir sind spontan Etherpad [1] und Subversion [2] eingefallen. Ich bin
mir aber nicht sicher ob das gute Anregungen sind.
Subversion kann vermutlich zu viel und ist daher wohl für Einsteigis zu
komplex in der Einrichtung und Handhabung.
Bei Etherpad konnte ich bisher nicht herausfinden ob auch
unterschiedliche Rollen/Berechtigungen möglich sind. Auch habe ich noch
nicht in Erfahrung gebracht wie kompliziert das Einrichten ist. Ich
hoffe nicht schwieriger als zum Beispiel das Einrichten einer
MySQL-Datenbank.
Auf jeden Fall hätten sie auch ein Budget. Ich habe angeregt Freie
Software einzusetzen und mit dem Budget eine Spende für das benutzte
Projekt zu machen. (Ob so etwas wegen einer Förderungsfinanzierung
verwaltungstechnisch möglich ist, wird gerade geklärt. Vermutlich klappt
das nur, wenn eine Spendenbestätigung möglich ist.)
Habt Ihr Tipps?
Eventuell wäre das sogar schon ein erster passender Fall für das
freie.it Netzwerk [3], da ja wahrscheinlich sogar ein Budget zur
Verfügung steht. Es könnte auf jeden Fall ein vernünftiges Honorar fürs
Helfen mit der technischen Realisierung verrechnet werden, wenn jemand
von Euch den Auftrag haben möchte...
Habt Ihr Anregungen? Möchte jemand von Euch seine Dienste anbieten? Dann
würde ich vorschlagen das zu Testzwecken gleich über die freie.it Seite
zu versuchen indem wir die Person dort eintragen und ich meinen Freundis
den Link gebe, damit sie dort nach passenden Fachkräften suchen können.
Freilich sollte ich dabei noch betreuend daneben sitzen, da unser
Schlagwortarchiv vermutlich noch viel zu klein ist um bei freien
Eingaben sinnvolle Ergebnisse liefern zu können.
