so wie es derzeit aussieht wird es zum DFD kalt und es wird schneien. Ist es eine Option unseren Stand z.B in die Opernpassage oder in einen anderen überdachten öffentlichen Raum zu verlegen? Ist das gesetzlich zulässig?

Ich könnte zwar sicher ein großes Zelt ausborgen, aber das hilft nicht viel, wenn wetterbedingt keine Leute stehen bleiben.
Die Frage ist: Wo können wir stehen? Wenn es Privatbesitz ist, müssten das schon Leute sein, die unser Anliegen gut finden, damit sie uns das erlauben...
Das Museumsquartier wäre toll, aber bei Schneefall wohl auch verhältnismäßig leer.
Laut Wetter.com liegt die Niederschlagswahrscheinlichkeit am Mittwoch allerdings immer noch bei nur 20 Prozent. Es mag also zwar kalt werden, aber Schneefall ist eher nicht zu erwarten. Damit haben wir zwar vielleicht keine langen Diskussionen, aber das ist wohl kein Problem:

Das ist der unterirdische Gang von der Oper zum Karlsplatz / Resslpark. Das ist die U1 / U4 / U2 aber auch viele Geschäfte und ein Cafe / Imbissbuden, Junkies etc. Das ist üblicherweise sehr sehr viel los.
Allerdings sind die Leute dort vermutlich nicht im "Shoppingmodus" / Sammlermodus (= offen und interessiert für neues) wie auf der Mariahilferstrasse sondern in Stressmodus (Jagdmodus) auf dem Weg zur Arbeit oder heim.

Ich vermute dass erst hinter den Absperrungen / Fahrkartenentwertern der Privatbesitz beginnt. Müsste man prüfen. Wie kann man das prüfen? Fragen bei der Polizei?

Du hast anscheinend auch schon reichlich Infostand-Erfahrung, wenn Du das zu bedenken gibst. :)

Gute Frage. Es ist zumindest einen Versuch wert. Andernfalls eben direkt bei den vermeintlichen Besitzern - also den Wiener Linien. Wenn's ihnen nicht gehört, werden sie das ja hoffentlich auch wissen...
Ich bin heute jedenfalls den ganzen Tag auf einer Sitzung und kann erst morgen wieder herum telefonieren. (Und Freitag ist für Behörden eher ein schlechter Tag. Magst/kannst Du mal sehen, was Du herausfinden kannst?

Habe mal nachgefragt. Der untere Bereich (beim McDonalds) gehört den Wiener Linien. Der obere Bereich (Rondeau beim Anker) gehört der Stadt Wien. Zumindest im oberen Bereich gibt es manchmal Info Stände. Diese haben eine Genehmigung des Magistrates. Beides ist jedenfalls Privatgrund. (Was immer der untere und der obere Bereich sind. Ich hab keine Ahnung wo der Mackie oder der Anker sind.)

Ich bin zwar kein Jurist, aber der Unterschied ist meines Erachtens die Flächenwidmung. Die Mariahilferstraße ist als Straße, öffentliche Fläche, oder so ähnlich gewidmet, jedenfalls nicht als "Privatgrund". Auf öffentlichen Flächen zieht wohl die (in der Verfassung festgeschriebene) Versammlungsfreiheit. Andererseits ist das (ebenfalls in der Verfassung festgeschriebene) Recht auf eigenen Grund und Boden höherwertig als das Versammlungsrecht. Somit ist auf Privatgrund die Zustimmung des Eigentümers erforderlich. (Bei der Unterscheidung zwischen öffentlicher Fläche und Privatgrund scheinen übrigens die tatsächlichen Besitzverhältnisse nicht relevant. So gehört m.W. der Grund und Boden auf dem sich die österreichischen Autobahnen befinden der ASFINAG und damit einer Privatfirma.)
