Der politische Wert ist praktisch 0 (auch wegen [0]) - und auch deshalb gab es z.B. bei der Patent-"Schlacht" (die ich "damals" näher miterlebt/gemacht hab;-) keine derartigen Aktionen, Links, Texte, .... von der patent-kritischen Seite.
Schon mehr helfen ein paar Emails, die die Leute wirklich selber schreiben, und wirklich die persönliche Situation - das läßt auf der Empfängerseite auch Rückschlüsse auf die Anzahl der Betroffenen zu - und mögliche/wahrscheinliche Folgen und Implikationen darstellen. Das schreibt man auch so, daß das Otto Normalpolitiker (halbwegs) verstehen und nachvollziehen kann, weil dort sitzen kaum andere herum (da mal ein Nachrichtensprecher oder dort eine Schauspielerin, aber das Rest sind fast alle beamtete Berufspolitiker).
Und die schickt man auch *nur* an den *inhaltlich* Zuständigen der jeweiligen Partei der (eigenen) nationalen Fraktion (und einem SPÖ- Abgeordneten wird man mitunter anders argumentieren müssen wie bei ÖVP - mag bei einer Linksteuer nicht so arg verschieden sein, aber bei Patenten ist es das halt). Im EU-Parlament gibt es (auch) "Arbeitsteilung" innerhalb der nationalen Fraktionen und die anderen Abgeordneten der nationalen Fraktion stimmen idR 1:1 so, wie der inhaltlich Zuständige es rät bzw. selber abstimmt (weil umgekehrt ist es idR auch so).
D.h. es ist auch schlau, den Lebenslauf des zuständigen Parlamentariers zu überfliegen, um eine grobe Idee zu haben, wo der herkommt, was der gelernt hat - falls überhaupt;-) - und was der wohl schon wissen wird und wo man damit ansetzen kann. Und dem natürlich die Worte auch in den Mund zu legen, mit der die Kollegen mitzeihen kann.
Und analog kann man auch andere Lobbying-Organisationen/Pressure-Groups wie auch und nicht zuletzt AK, ÖGB, WK, IV i.ä. angehen, weil die sind im Grunde auch nichts anderes (dort laufen auch die Vertreter der großen Firmen u.a. Interessensgruppen rum und betreiben Lobbying - und das in ihrer Arbeitszeit). D.h. die Rechteverwerter, Medienkonzerne und wer immer sonst noch das in der EU eingeworfen hat (anders kommt es nicht zu "EU-Gesetzen") machen das ja auch seit Jahren. </Political Lobbying 101>
Das hat jetzt nichts konkret mit dem Thema obig verlinkter Abstimmung als solcher zu tun oder wie ich persönlich dazu stehe, sondern die Aktion mit dem Link wird der Sache mbMn mehr schaden als helfen.

Ich stimme Dir grudsätzlich zu. Allerdings ist es illusorisch Leute dazu zu bewegen selbst die ganze Fußarbeit zu machen. Es ist schon viel wenn sie zumindest auf diese hier vorbereitete niedrigschwellige Art mitmachen.
Der meiner Kenntnis nach beste Fall wäre die übersichtliche Sammlung von guten, knappen Argumenten kombiniert mit einer Liste der Mailadressen und Positionen der relevanten Personen. Allerdings gibt es das hier leider nicht ... wohl weil das ein irrer Aufwand ist.
Optimal hat es meiner Meinung nach damals der AKVorrat mit savetheinternet.eu gemacht. Das hat es allen leicht gemacht den jeweiligen Abgeordneten - entsprechend ihrer Positionierung zum Thema - individuelle Texte zu schicken. Allerdings machen bei so etwas ernüchternd wenige Leute mit. Mir ist klar, dass sich Abgeordnete über Massenmails ärgern und dass sie die natürlich ausfiltern, aber die Zahlen sind (in entsprechend höheren Mengen) trotzdem relevant.
Eventuell ist es sinnvoller diese Zustimmungen zu sammeln und dann erst die Statistik mit gut individuell zugeschnittenen Texten an die Zuständigen zu schicken, damit wir nicht unnötig die Spam-Spirale ankurbeln, aber ich kann das nur in meinem Umfeld anstoßen, wo ich direkt in derlei involviert bin.
Ich denke nicht, dass solche Aktionen kontraproduktiv sind. Sie sind vielleicht nicht so wirkungsvoll wie es schön wäre, aber zumindest besser als nichts. Im Idealfall eben kombiniert mit individuelleren, geistvolleren Maßnahmen.
Ich gebe hier auch nicht nur irgendeine persönliche Meinung ab weil ich über die Jahre selbst über verschiedene NGOs bereits mit PolitikerInnen zu tun hatte.
