Zwar schreibt Heise nur von Open-Source, aber auf der Gov Seite steht explizit FOSS: https://www.gov.uk/service-manual/making-software/open-source.html
Wie es umgesetzt wird, zeigt die Zeit. Es ist aber ein erfreuliches Statement. Und immer nur negativ ist blöde. :-)

Finde ich gut, sehr gut sogar. Auch wenn es soweit ich verstehe nur eine "Richtlinie" ist, ist es IMHO auch ein Zeichen dafür das in dieser Richtung etwas weitergeht.

Das positive ist, dass das soweit ich weiß nicht nur im stillen Kämmerlein ausgebrütet wurde, also sehr wohl viele Institutionen, Firmen und dergleichen eingeladen waren daran mitzuarbeiten.
Die Lobbyisten haben massiv versucht abzuschwächen wie bzw. was drinnen sein sollte in dieser Richtlinie. Ehrlich gesagt muss ich sie noch genau lesen, aber ich denke so erfolgreich waren die "Bösen" nicht, denn sonst wäre das ganz verhindert worden ==> bzw. macht es jetzt Arbeit wenn man erklären muss warum die proprietäre Lösung angeschafft wird.
