The main organiser (Ville Sundell) is the maintainer of the fsfe-fi-list. All the speakers are FSFE Fellows and some of them are members of the FSFE Finnish team. There well be a FSFE booth (Henri organises) and we have a lot of say in the planning of the event.

This spring Finhack is a "track" within the Meego Summit FI, so it will get more visibility and hopefully attract new people too, but most of the participants are Finnish FS developers.
Are the parameters more or less the same as last year, as per the questions below?

how does the event promote software freedom. Are there talks about Free Software? What sort of talks are there?
Do the organisers and the promotional materials talk about Free Software, or is it all about "open source"?
who is running the event? How has it been run in the past?
what's the role of the event in the Finnish Free Software community?
If the team is happy with the answers to those questions, then FSFE can be listed as a supporter.
Saying that the event is organised "in cooperation with FSFE" would put the bar considerably higher. In the past, this has usually meant that FSFE had a substantial and active role in organising the event, including a say over the content and the speakers. That's not the case here.
