Unfortunately we could not get any room from Haaga-Helia on Monday 23rd, but instead we booked now a 80-person class room on the first floor perfect for our event on Thursday 19th of September. The booking is for 16:30-20:00 so we have preparation time, as the event will be 17:30-20:00.
Is this date OK to all of you? Please respond.

About the event publishing web portal, instead of event-bright we can use http://doattend.com/ which is free for free events. Thus we can stick to our freedom of being free.
Please let me know your thoughts if any.

Eventbrite is also free for free events. I wonder if there is any open source option to these proprietary services.
At least the page http://alternativeto.net/software/eventbrite/?license=opensource or any quick Googling does find any alternatives. I quickly also looked at the list at http://www.quora.com/What-are-the-best-alternatives-to-EventBrite but all the alternatives also seem to be proprietary services. As Eventbrite is a bit open source inclined and has good integration tech and toolset (http://eventbrite.github.io/), I am leaning at the moment in favor of choosing Eventbrite.
