FYI, Linus father will start as a representative in the EU Parliament on Thursday as his predecessor got promoted to be a Minister back home.
Nils Torvalds says that his group will vote against ACTA and that is likely to block it.
I will try to stay in contact with him. Might be useful for our cause to have Linux creators father as a MEP.

Jag själv får vara med och röst först på torsdagen. Det är då jag tar över efter Carl Haglund. Men jag kan trösta dig med att ALDE-gruppen - mer eller mindre i sin helhet - kommer att rösta mot ACTA och uppenbarligen därmed fälla hela förslaget.

That's good to hear -- though he'll be a day late. The EP just rejected ACTA a couple of hours ago, with a very clear majority.

And he'll be with the ALDE group (liberals). That's excellent, since we need more contacts there.
One thinks the should already have a fairly good understanding of Free Software. Otto, could you put me in touch with him? I'd be happy to meet him.
(I'll be in Brussels on July 11, and then probably in September again.)
