Hallo zusammen,
die FSFE glaubt seit dem Anbeginn ihrer Aktivitäten daran, dass es für den Fortschritt von Freier Software essentiell ist, auch Firmen von den Vorteilen, Freie Software zu nutzen und produzieren, zu überzeugen. Allerdings war das schon immer ein heißes Eisen, ein Unternehmen als "gut" oder "schlecht" im Sinne Freier Software zu beurteilen, weil die Grenzen in der Realität unscharf verlaufen und die Welt nicht schwarz/weiß ist.
Auf der Mitgliederversammlung Anfang Oktober haben wir uns über dieses Problem Gedanken gemacht und sind möglicherweise einen großen Schritt vorwärts gekommen, vor allem Dank des Inputs von unseren Fellowship-Repräsentanten Mirko und Niko. Jetzt wäre es für das weitere Vorgehen sehr wichtig, dass Ihr uns Rückmeldungen zu den Vorschlägen im Text gebt, etwa dazu, ob die Klassifizierung in Euren Augen nützlich sein kann und was Ihr von der Idee öffentlicher Evaluierungen haltet. Rückmeldung am besten direkt an Matthias (im Cc).
