ich habe eine Frage bzgl. der Auslegung der LPGL bzgl. "header-only" Bibliotheken. Bin ich damit hier richtig, oder sollte ich mich damit an eine andere Liste wenden ?
Falls hier der richtige Ort für rechtliche Fragen ist:
§3 der LPGL kümmert sich explizit um Material aus Header-Dateien und §4 um "Kombinierte Werke".
Ist es korrekt zu behaupten:
Header in seinen Anwendungscode einzubinden, also "Objekt-Code, der Material aus Bibliotheks-Header-Dateien enthält" zu erzeugen, stellt kein kombinieren oder linken im Sinne der LGPL dar und deswegen ist §4 nicht anzuwenden.
Oder anders ausgedruckt: Ich verstehe, dass es bei Header-Only Bibliotheken nicht möglich ist $4.d.0 oder $4.d.1 zu erfüllen, ohne (zumindest einen Teil) des Anwendungsquelltextes frei verfügbar zu machen. Ist dies korrekt? Wenn ja, müsste m.E. $4 in dieser Situation praktisch irrelevant. Ich habe aber leider in der Lizenz keinen expliziten Ausschluss von $4 für header-only Bibliotheken gefunden.
Meine Frage ist also: Welche Paragrafen der LGPLv3 sind von Standpunkt der FSF auf header-only Bibliotheken anzuwenden und welche nicht?

Meinst Du Teile von Boost, der C++-Standardbibliothek usw.?
