Moin, gerade interessiere ich mich für eine Ausschreibung von Bremen, es scheint aber so zu sein, als kann ich daran nur teilnehmen, wenn ich eine Software "AI Bietercockpit" verwende und die geht nur auf MacOS und Windows.
Früher schien auch GNU/Linux zu gehen, die Anwendung ist wohl in Java. Aber irgendwann haben die eine Starteranwendung davor gestrickt und seitdem schein es nicht mehr zu gehen.
Kennt jemand einen Hack, damit es trotzdem mit OpenJDK startet?
Klar, das ist eine proprietäre Anwendung und der Kunde (in dem Fall das Land Bremen, welches die Plattform evergabe.de verwendet) bestellt, was das Produkt kann.
Die Kunden von evergabe wie Bremen haben wohl nicht genug Wert darauf gelegt, dass der neue "Webstart" auch auf GNU/Linux geht.
Irgendwie traurig.
Ich träume von einer Welt, in der Bieterwerkzeuge gleich als Freie Software entwickelt werden, das brauchen ja recht viele Organisationen in Deutschland.

auf den Link kann ich ohne weiteres zugreifen - ich sehe da eine Übersicht vorhandener Ausschreibungen. Einzelne Ausschreibungen aufrufen und Vergabeunterlagen runterladen kann ich auch. Die eigentliche Anwendung wird vermutlich erst gestartet, wenn man sich registriert/anmeldet? Oder kann man das irgendwie ohne testen? Wie kommt man zu dem Bietercockpit?

Hallo Bernhard, mein erster (positiver) Test war auf einer speziell für Java-Anwendungen eingerichteten VM (Debian10). Auf meinem normalen Rechner funktioniert der Download der Vergabeunterlagen tatsächlich nicht. Probiers mal mit der library icedtea. Viele Grüße Ilu

Der AI Weblauncher in der Windows 64.exe kann per unzip ausgepackt werden, hat aber ein Binary drin. Per "strings" vermute ich: das läd halt die Java-Bibliotheken und die Anwendung runter und wirft sie dann an, wenn es mit der Datei gestartet wird.
(Habe auch Deine weitere Email gesehen.) Da wir hier für die Entwicklung von Freier Software auf anderen Plattformen auch solche haben, ist es halt wieder eine Anwendung mehr, die ich für Ausschreibungen in einer Windows VM laufen lassen muss. Insofern kann ich das Problem umgehen, es ärgert mich halt nur. Gefühlt wird die Unterstützung für GNU/Linux Desktops bei Ausschreibungswerkzeugen wieder etwas zurückgefahren.

Vielleicht geht der Weblauncher ja auch? https://www.bietercockpit.de/res/docs/AI-WL_Betriebshandbuch.pdf erwähnt Linux und auch die Möglichkeit der manuellen Installation. Möglicherweise ist das Bietercockpit, das es nur für Windows gibt, ja nur eine bequemere Alternative. Hast Du die Firma mal angerufen?
Du könntest auch dem Land/Stadt Bremen mitteilen, dass sie die Linux-Unterstützung implementieren sollen, weil Du Dir sonst überlegst, gegen alle Vergaben, an denen Du nicht teilnehmen konntest, zu klagen. Das ist keineswegs aussichtslos und selbst wenn es die Vergabestelle des Landes nicht interessiert - es gibt kaum etwas, was eine projektbetreuende Behörde mehr ärgert als Gerichtsverfahren. Ich kann mir irgendwie nicht vorstellen, dass die allen Ernstes eine Rechtswidrigkeit aller ihrer Vergabeverfahren riskieren. Da klagt doch ohnehin schon ständig jemand wegen irgendwas.

Ein guter Fund, Danke! Das ist zwar eine alte Version (1.1.4), und es gibt wohl 1.2.2.2. Und laut Release-Notes (im Handbuch) sind da durchaus sicherheitsreleveante Änderugen gemacht worden. Vielleicht geht es aber trotzdem?

Nein, bisher habe ich die Firma nicht angerufen. Weiß nicht, ob das wirklich lohnt. Wie gesagt, ich denke, technisch ist es so: a) der Weblauncher ist ein Binäranwendung, welche Java Runtime und Biblotheken nachläd und dann b) eine Java Anwendung nachläd c) (Jedes Mal nach Aktualisierungen schaut.)

Leider gibt es so viele kleine und große Benachteiligung von anderen IT- Systemen, leider muss ich meine Kräfte gut verteilen, welche ich konkret bekämpfen möchte. Auf die Liste habe ich geschrieben, weil ich es bekannt machen wollte und weil ich hoffte, vielleicht hat jemand aus anderen Gründen schon technisch drumherum gearbeitet.
