gerade heute habe ich Frau "Naumann, Bettina" b.naumann@oekt.de nochmal angeschrieben (1. Mail vom 2.6.) und um eine erste Reaktion gebeten. Sie schreibt, sie habe es an den Zuständigen für den Bereich "Internet" weitergeleitet und bat mich um etwas mehr Geduld. Jetzt wäre natürlich interessant, wer der zuständige Mensch ist.
Ich würde mich freuen, wenn die FSFE die Sache in die Hand nehmen würde. Dabei sollte man den Kirchentagsleuten von Anfang an ein wenig Dampf machen, also direkt groß per Presseerklärung ankündigen, dass die FSFE Veranstaltungen plant. Dann kann der Kirchentag entweder aus dem Quark kommen und kooperieren oder man schaut sich bei Google, Yahoo, Stadt München etc. um, ob man einen Raum bekommt und macht seine eigenen Veranstaltungen.

Hallo, seit Anfang April bin als Praktikant bei der FSFE tätig und komme von "Kirchens". Ich halte den Kirchentag für eine hervorragende Idee und bin der Meinung, das nach germany@ zu bringen. Es werden ca. 150000+ Besucher erwartet, aus allen gesellschaftlichen Schichten und Kreisen.
Einige Ideen: Sicherlich gibt es die Möglichkeit, auf dem 'Markt der Möglichkeiten' mitzumischen mit einem (gemeinsamen) Stand. Weiterhin bieten sich aber auch Podiumsdiskussionen (mit Kirchen-ITlern, Bischöfen, fellows etc.) bzw. workshops (freie Software für den Kircheneinsatz) als auch die Vernetzung mit anderen Gruppen (z.Bsp. Freie Software + Eine Welt) an.
Ich kann da an der ein oder anderen Stelle die Fäden zusammenführen, aber dafür ist tatsächlich nicht mehr viel Zeit.

Hallo, bin jetzt grad nicht klar, inwieweit fsfe-de@ einen Überblick über die Idee hat bzw. ob diese und/oder germany@ die bessere Basis ist. Ich denke, man sollte da noch mal einen neuen thread starten mit entsprechenden Infos.
Dennoch ganz kurz eine konkrete Rückmeldung: m.E. sollte man da etwas ruhiger (aber nicht langsamer / sanfter) an die Sache rangehen ;) Prinzipiell ist "Kirche" ziemlich auf unserer Seite. (D.h. ich kenne mich nur im protestantischen Mileu aus.) Die Argumentation liefere ich noch nach. Die Dinge, für die FSFE steht sind auch für die Kirchen hochwichtig (offene Standards, freie Verfügbarkeit, etc.). Die Kirchenvertreter, mit denen ich bereits darüber gesprochen habe, bedauern sehr, dass es da nicht richtig vorwärts geht. Abgesehen davon, dass die Kirchen eh noch im Gutenberg-Universum arbeiten und der IT-Strategie (wenn es überhaupt eine gibt) keine hohe Priorität eingeräumt wird, ist das ein so klassischer Fall von "vendor lock-in" wie kein anderer. Die Kirchen, mit denen ich Erfahrung habe sind hochgradig miteinander vernetzt und zwar weltweit. Das macht eine Migration nicht unbedingt einfacher, da es sehr komplexe Interdependencen gibt. Wie gesagt, aus ethische Sicht würde Kirche nur zu gerne Freie Software einsetzen, aber praktisch hat noch niemand eine Idee gehabt, die funktioniert.
