Hallo,
am Sonntag, den 27. Oktober, wird um 23:05 Uhr im ORF 2 die Doku “50 Jahre Internet - Aufstand in der Matrix” gezeigt.
“Die Snowden Enthüllungen und der Cambridge Analytica Skandal haben deutlich gemacht: Big Data droht außer Kontrolle zu geraten. Dagegen regt sich Widerstand. Der Film taucht ein in die Welt von Datenschutzaktivisten und ihren ungleichen Kampf gegen globale Internetkonzerne und den Überwachungsstaat. Ihnen geht es dabei um nichts Geringeres, als um den Schutz der Privatsphäre, Meinungsfreiheit und der Demokratie selbst. Hansjürgen Schmölzer dringt mit seinem Film in die Welt einer gut vernetzten Aktivistencommunity, die mit Cleverness, Witz und Hartnäckigkeit auch scheinbar übermächtigen Gegnern die Stirn bieten, ein.” [1]
Die FSFE kommt nach etwa 45 Minuten vor und ein Teil unseres "Public Money? Public Code!"-Videos [2] wird eingespielt. Darüber hinaus kommt noch die Freedom-Box vor und ein NoCloud-Aufkleber [3] und unser NoCloud-T-Shirt [4] sind zu sehen. Nach etwa einer Stunde wird zudem unser FSFE-Stand auf dem CCCamp gezeigt. Auch Katharina Nocun, die mit unserem Präsidenten Matthias Kirschner in unserer ersten Podcast-Folge mit Cory Doctorow über das Thema DRM gesprochen hat [5], wird in der Doku interviewt.
Nach der Erstausstrahlung ist die Doku auch 7 Tage in der ORF-TVthek [6] online verfügbar.
