TP-Link verwendet wie auch viele andere Routerhersteller GPL-lizensierten Code in der Firmware. Deshalb stellen sie den Code auch im Internet zur Verfügung: [1] Allerdings nur als Rar-Archiv, was ja ein proprietäres Format ist und mit freier Software eventuell gar nicht fehlerfrei zu entpacken ist.
Ich würde TP-Link deshalb gerne schreiben und darum bitten, auch ein freies Dateiformat anzubieten.
Ich wollte fragen, ob jemand weiß, ob das vielleicht sogar indirekt von der GPL so vorgeschrieben ist, den Sourcecode in einem freien Format rauszugeben. Das würde meiner Bitte etwas mehr Nachdruck verleihen.

rar ist ja sowas von 90er :O

Ich kann die Frage leider nicht beantworten, würde mich aber auch sehr interessieren.
