Der Deutsche Bundestag hat am 9. November 2001 den Beschluss gefasst, Freie Software in der Bundesverwaltung zu fördern.
Die Beschlussempfehlung stammt vom Januar 2000, deshalb sind wohl die Begriffe und Freiheiten nicht optimal. Trotzdem schön.
Hat wer Lust eine Pressemitteilung oder Ankündigung zu schreiben? Das interessiert sicherlich mehrere Leute.

Das scheint die verzweifelte Antwort von Microsoft darauf zu sein...
Meines Erachtens nicht, dort geht es mehr im die Frage ob im Bundestag 5000 Klienten von Windows auf GNU/Linux migriert werden und die Sicherheitsaspekte. Weiterhin scheint das beschlossene Papier schon recht alt zu sein.
Ein positiver Ansatz im Heise Artikel ist der folgende Absatz:

Jetzt muss dem Redaktuer der c't nur noch auffallen, dass Einsehbarkeit ohne Freiheiten die Programme zu ändern, zu verbessern oder das Wissen grundsätzlich zu nutzen, nicht viel bringt... dann kann er auch gleich den besseren Begriff "Freie Software" verwenden. :)
