ich komme gerade aus einer Besprechung des Programmkommittees zur LinuxWorldExpo in Frankfurt am 27. - 29. Oktober 2003 [1].
Da Frankfurt die Stadt der Banken ist und parallel eine Bankkonferenz stattfindet, wird es wohl einen dedizierten "Financial Summit" Track geben.
Für diesen habe ich vorgeschlagen, einen Vortrag "Banking on Free Software" über GNUcash & OpenHBCI zu machen, was extrem positiv aufgenommen wurde.
Zielrichtung wäre, zu demonstrieren, wie das funktioniert und zu zeigen, daß es Alternativen gibt und schließlich die Bänker über die Möglichkeiten zu informieren bis hin zu der Option, über z.B. eine dedizierte Knoppix-Version ihren Kunden eine dedizierte und saubere Lösung zu bieten.
Den Vortrag sollte nach Möglichkeit jemand halten, der aus Deutschland stammt (und also direkte Erfahrung damit hat) und nach Möglichkeit im Anzug aufschlagen kann (Bänker sind da sehr empfindlich).
Hat jemand Interesse daran, so einen Vortrag (45 Minuten: c.a. 30 Minuten + 10 Minuten Diskussion) zu machen?
