Hallo,
am 14.11.2015 wurde der Linux Presentation Day auch in Mülheim an der Ruhr begangen.
Unser Fellow Wolf-Dieter Zimmermann organisierte die Veranstaltung in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Medienkompetenzzentrum und der dortigen Volkshochschule. Sie fand von 10.00 Uhr bis 13.30 Uhr in der Stadtbibliothek im MedienHaus am Viktoriaplatz statt und war ein großer Erfolg. Im Vorfeld haben wir gerätselt, wieviele Interessierte denn kommen würden. Das es dann neunzig sein würden, hatten wir uns in den kühnsten Träumen nicht ausgemalt (die kreisfreie Stadt Mülheim an der Ruhr hat - <a href="http://www.it.nrw.de/statistik/a/daten/bevoelkerungszahlen_zensus/zensus_rp1_dez14.html">Stand: 31.12.2014 - 167.108 Einwohner</a>).

Zwei Wünsche von Besuchern, die an mich herangetragen worden sind: Ein Besucher drückte - sicherlich für manchen anderen mit - den Wunsch nach einen regelmäßigen Treffen zum Lernen und zum Erfahrungsaustausch aus. Ein anderer wünschte sich eine CryptoParty.
Interessant war auch, dass die meisten Besucher der älteren Generation angehörten.
