auch über die Mailingliste nochmal. Ab Version 23 funktioniert das nicht mehr, da Firefox 23 den keyword.URL Parameter nicht mehr unterstützt. Man braucht das jetzt als Suchmaschinen Plugin:
https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/search/?q=duckduckgo&appver=23.0

Wie auch schon auf deinen Kommentar im Blog geschrieben, kann ich das mit FF Mobile 23 nicht nachvollziehen. Hier wird keyword.URL ausgewertet. Allerdings habe ich das Plugin auch installiert, was aber nur dazu führt, dass mir als "Keyword" die Suche mit DuckDuckGo vorgeschlagen wird. Tippe ich aber auf "Los" (Android für Enter), dann schickt er die Eingabe direkt an die URL, die in keyword.URL hinterlegt ist.

bei mir hat es nicht funktioniert auf meinem Smartphone und dieser Forumseintrag [1] legt es auch nahe, dass der Parameter nicht mehr ausgewertet wird. Ich hab's hinzugefüht, dennoch was die Standardsuchmaschine weiterhin Google.

Warum das nun bei dir geht und bei mir nicht verstehe wer will.
Ich habe die Variable bei mir leer vorgefunden, geändert, ging. Ich nutze den FF auf Android schon seit es ihn gibt, vielleicht werden bei alten Installationen die Werte beim Update nicht rausgeworfen.
Hast du mal probiert, einen neuen Schlüssel "keyword.URL" anzulegen?

Ja habe ich gemacht, hat nichts geändert. Wurde bei mir komplett ignoriert.
Und er nimmt bei dir Google? Oder gibt es einen Fehler? Es gibt noch ein Setting keyword.enabled, wenn ich das auf false setze, kriege ich einen Fehler, wenn die Eingabe in der Adresszeile keine URL ist.
