Hallo,
beim Fellowshiptreffen in Düsseldorf am 28.09.2016 traf sich nur eine kleine Gruppe, die dennoch einen interessanten Abend verlebte. Es fehlten allerdings einige "Stamm"-Teilnehmer entschuldigt mit guten Gründen.
Angesichts des Umstandes, dass sich wirklich alle kannten, entfiel im "lazy consensus" aufgrund einer Anregung aus dem Teilnehmerkreis die eigentlich obligate Vorstellungsrunde.
Nach der Begrüßung folgten also Berichte von Veranstaltungen im September. Leider fehlte auch der einzige bekannte Teilnehmer des "Summits" in Berlin am Anfang des Monats, sodass dessen Bericht demnächst nachgeholt werden muss.
Es wurde sodann von der Veranstaltung zum Software Freedom Day 2016 in Köln berichtet. Dabei wurden das Thema und der Inhalt der einzelnen Vorträge [0] kurz dargestellt und von der Resonanz beim Publikum berichtet.
Sodann wurde vom Besuch bei der PHP Usergroup Duesseldorf [1] berichtet.
Deren Vorträge im September waren in englischer Sprache (auch weil einige teilnahmen, deren Muttersprache nicht Deutsch ist), sehr interessant und hatten praktisch nichts mit PHP zu tun.
Schließlich folgte ein Bericht vom Barcamp Kirche online [2] in Köln, der notwendigerweise sehr punktuell ausfallen musste. Daher sollen nur zwei Punkte hier erwähnt werden.
Freie Software ist vor allem in der Evangelischen Kirche im Rheinland angekommen. Ihre Nutzung findet eine zunehmend tiefere Begründung nicht nur in technischer und wirtschaftlicher Hinsicht.
Im Vergleich zu Barcamp in Essen vor zwei Jahren wurde deutlich, dass die Kirchen das Internet nicht nur als "konventionelles" Medium für Ankündigungen und Berichte von Veranstaltungen im sogenannten "real life" nutzen, sondern dass auch kirchliches Leben (Verkündigung, Gebete, Andachten) im "Cyberspace" stattfinden.
Der Höhepunkt des Abends war die Vorstellung des Fortschritts und des Standes des Projektes "Free Your Model Train" der Freien Software Freunde mit praktischer Vorführung. Das Projekt hat einen Stand erreicht, der seine alsbaldige "Veröffentlichung" - wenn auch unter dem Gesichtspunktspunkt "release early" verantwortbar erscheinen lässt.
Das Projekt hat vor allem den Zweck, Freie Software und Offene Standards Teilen der Bevölkerung nahe zu bringen, die wir mit unserer bisherigen Arbeit noch nicht erreichen.
Das nächste reguläre Fellowshiptreffen in Düsseldorf findet am 26.10.2016 ab 19:30 Uhr im Chaosdorf, Hüttenstr. 25, 40215 Düsseldorf,
statt.
Der offizielle Teil des Treffens beginnt um 20:00 Uhr. Wer später kommt, verpasst also etwas.
Hinzuweisen ist auch auf die Veranstaltungen zum "Linux Presentation Day" [3], der in Mülheim an der Ruhr aus guten Gründen "Linux im Alltag" heißt. am 22.10.2016.
Es finden auch einige Veranstaltungen in NRW statt [4]. Hervorzuheben sind vor allem die in Mülheim an der Ruhr [5] und Köln [6].

Wurde das im Oktober-Treffen nachgeholt oder auf andere Weise? Als Organisator des summits bin ich natürlich nach wie vor an Rückmeldungen, positive und negative interessiert.

Leider konnte der Bericht auch im Oktober nicht nachgeholt werden, da der einzige bekannte Teilnehmer des "Summits" in Berlin auch im Oktober nicht an unserem Treffen teilnehmen konnte.
