Wo bei LibreOffice/OpenOffice das Problem mit dem "Umfallen" ist sehe ich nicht, denn der Witz ist doch, dass hier eine Firma übernommen wurde und dass das Produkt trotzdem weitergeführt wurde. Schließlich kann man in Libreoffice auch Openoffice benutzen ohne das es meines Wissens zu Problemen kommt.
Und genau das war die Frage, klappen alle Makros usw. von OpenOffice auch genauso unter LibreOffice? Wenn ja wie lange?
Gerade bei Opensource hängt es sehr an der Kompetenz der (IT) Mitarbeiter und wenn die davon leben, dass sie jederzeit die Hotline einer der Hersteller nutzen können, haben die Panik wenn sich was verändert.
Jap und da ist der größte Knackpunt meiner Meinung. 2 Leuten traue ich das zu. (Die übernehmen immo auch die 25% Linux Rechner) Einem Windows Admin eher weniger
Und dann ahben wir noch 2 Mitarbeiter mit IT-Anteil (Heißt soviel wie: Leute die ne Maus bewegen können und dann auf Kuzrse geschickt werden) und dann mehr oder weniger die IT in einer Abteilung (mit unterstützung von den normalen Admins) machen sollen

Falls die Software nicht mehr das kann, was es mal konnte. Falls alte Zöpfe abgeschnitten werden, die man noch braucht. Bei Microsoft ist das
Nun "durch etwas anderes ersetzt werden muss" klingt wesentlich aufwändiger als es ist. Schließlich hat sich effektiv nur der Name geändert. :)
Das ist die Frage, denn schließlich ist der Quellcode nicht mehr gleich
Was genau sollte das im übrigen für Probleme mit sich bringen?

Naja, ich glaube mit Support meinen sie: Wie lange dauert es, bis ich gezwungen werde auf etwas neues umzusteigen und wieder alles umwerfen muss. Z.B. wird Office 2012 ein riesiger Sprung mit Schulungen werden. (Wenn der Bund sich dafür entscheidet, dass MS Office 2012 eingesetzt wird)
