= Freie Software in den schweizer National- und Ständeratswahlen =

Zürich, 19. September, 11:30 Uhr. Im Rahmen der am 23. Oktober 2011 stattfindenden National- und Ständeratswahlen in der Schweiz hat die Zürcher Fellowshipgruppe der FSFE eine Politikerbefragung zu Freie Software durchgeführt.
Uneinigkeit gab es bei der Frage ob Software, die von staatlichen Stellen entwickelt wird, unter eine Freie Lizenz gestellt werden soll. Die Kandidaten der Grünen, der sozialdemokratische Partei, der Piratenparei und teilweise die JUSOs befürworten dies. (In der Schweiz können auch Parteien der Jungeparteien gewählt werden.) Grünliberale geben dagegen Sicherheitsbedenken an und denken, dass mit Freier Software Patentrecht und Eigentumsrecht aufgelöst werden.
Jedoch waren sich die Befragten aller Parteien einig, dass bei der Kommunikation zwischen öffentlichen Trägern und Bürgern offene Dokumentenformate benutzt werden sollen und in Schulen und Kindergärten plattformunabhängige und/oder Freie Software eingesetzt werden soll.
