Nun ja, ich kenne folgende Texte dazu: [1] ist eher ein Text für Leute, die bereits das Problem kennen und selbst Nutzer freier Betriebssysteme sind. Unten werden allerdings einige "Lösungsansätze" beschrieben, darunter [2], welcher aber eher eine direkte Mail an des Versender von .doc(x)-Dokumenten ist.
Mit fällt gerade kein anderer Text ein, der das schön zusammenfasst und dabei möglichst freundlich ist. Es sollte ja ein kurzer knackiger, seriöser Text unter der Überschrift "Sie haben mir ein Microsoft Office-Dokument geschickt. Das ist nicht so gut..." stehen.
Ist jemand anderem da etwas geläufig? Oder wäre das etwas für documentfreedom.org oder fsfe.org zum Neu-Schreiben?

Hintergrund: Ich arbeite an der TU Dresden nutze Linux und auch sonst hauptsächlich OpenSource-Software für Forschung und Lehre.
Gelegentlich bekomme ich Emails zugeschickt mit Anhängen im Docx-Format, verbunden mit der Bitte diese auszufüllen, korrekturzulesen, etc. Meist von Personen die ich kaum kenne, von deren Wohlwollen ich in gewisser Weise abhängig bin (z.B. Sachberarbeiter_innen) und bei denen ich keine allzu großen (technischen) IT-Kenntnisse voraussetzen kann, ebenso wenig die Vertrautheit mit Fragen Offener Standards, freier Lizenzen, etc.
In solchen Fällen würde ich gern antworten, dass das proprietäre docx-Format ungeeignet für den allgemeinen Datenaustausch ist, weiß aber, dass ich dazu recht umfangreich ausholen müsste.
Frage: Gibt es einen (deutschen) Text auf den man in solchen Fällen verlinken kann? Der gut verständlich die wichtigsten Aspekte der Problematik von proprietären Datei-Formaten auf den Punkt bringt. Der Alternativen aufzeigt. Der aktuell ist und in einem möglichst seriösen Kontext veröffentlicht?
Leider habe ich bisher einen solchen Text noch nicht gefunden, kann mir aber nicht vorstellen, dass er nicht existiert.
