ich habe ein neues Projekt begonnen, das sich explizit an ein deutschsprachiges Publikum richtet. Ist es da erlaubt bzw. angebracht, den Lizenzhinweis im Quelltext auch auf Deutsch zu schreiben?
Es gibt ja eine deutsche Übersetzung der GPLv3: http://www.gnu.de/documents/gpl-3.0.de.html (Dank an den/die Übersetzer)
- Gibt es die auch als reine Textdatei? - Oder gibt es das auch als alleinstehende HTML-Datei?
Mir ist klar, dass nur der Originaltext rechtsverbindlich ist, und mit beigefügt werden muss. Aber Lizenztexte sind eh schon schwer zu lesen, da ist so eine Hilfe mehr als angebracht.

Natürlich meinte ich zwei unterschiedliche Dinge: 1. Der Lizenzhinweis in Quelltexten und 2. die beigefügten Lizenztexte. Die Dateien sind für Letzteres.

Da hab ich aber ganz andere Erfahrung. Ich gehe zB. nicht davon aus, dass all die GPL-Verstöße Absicht sind...
Übrigens verwende ich da auch für eigene Bezeichner nur deutschsprachige Namen und deutsche Kommentare... Strings sowieso. Wie gesagt, es ist eh auf ein deutschsprachiges Publikum ausgerichtet - und auch nicht nur für Fortgeschrittene.

Über einen Satz bin ich aber gestolpert: | Es ist nicht erforderlich, dass Sie Änderungen oder Verbesserungen | sich genehmigen lassen oder auch nur anzeigen.
Das Wort "anzeigen" ist da nicht ganz deutlich. In der Regel sollten veränderte Kopien doch als solche gekennzeichnet werden (§5a), wenn sie veröffentlicht werden. Aber sie müssen halt nicht veröffentlicht werden.
Bei der Download-Seite ist der Link "Sicherheitshinweis" kaputt (lokaler Server?)
