P.S.: Inzwischen verfestigt sich bei mir der Eindruck, daß die Fixierung auf den geringeren Verbrauch elektrischer Leistung auch nur dazu dient, die Leute zum Kauf neuer Geräte zu verführen und damit eine großen Beitrag zur Schädigung der Umwelt zu leisten.

Die Betrachtung des Gesamtsystems ist wichtig aber leider überhaupt nicht ausreichend. Der Lebenszyklus ist in den Blick zu nehmen. Dann sieht man schnell, daß man durch Betrachtung des Gesamtsystems Verbesserungen im Hinblick auf die Nachhaltigkeit höchstens im einstelligen Bereich erzielen kann, eher im Promille Bereich. Was dort möglich ist, sollte allerdings getan werden.

Ob das wirklich Absicht ist oder nicht kann ich nicht sagen. Es ist aber auf jeden Fall was dabei Raus kommt. Aus eigener Erfahrung kann ich sagen, dass oft Geräte weg geworfen werden, die leicht repariert werden hätten können oder gar nicht erst kaputt waren ohne zu reflektieren, dass die Herstellung des neuen Gerätes mehr Energie brauchte als es jemals einsparen wird. Ironischer weise kommt es dann gerade bei solchen Geräten oft dazu, dass sie bereits vor Ablauf der Gewährleistungsfrist, oder kurz danach, kaputt werden, und nicht so einfach zu reparieren sind.
Dazu kommen so Späße wie Leistungsbeschränkung für Staubsauger welche als Effekt hat, dass die Staubsauger entweder den Schmutz nicht mehr Ein saugen können oder mit viel kleineren Düsen kommen, was dazu führ, dass man länger saugt. So wie ich das sehe führt das gerade dazu, dass Reinigungsroboter boomen, welche
a) sehr sehr viel komplexer in der Herstellung sind, b) daher nicht so leicht zu reparieren und c) voraussichtlich auch schneller kaputt gehen. dazu kommt noch, dass alle mir bekannten Modelle mit Batarien betrieben werden was das ganze noch mal ad absurdum führt.
PS: Ja ich weiß etwas offtopic wollte das nur mal los werden.
