In einer Zeit, in der Tablets Laptops und PC ersetzen sollen, geht für die Benutzer eine alte Selbstverständlichkeit verloren: die Freiheit, das Betriebssystem seines Geräts selbst zu wählen. Mit einem Trick klappt es aber trotzdem.

Und ich dachte der e.V. wurde gerade aufgelöst.
Damit das alle verstehen: die Free Software Foundation Europe ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein (e.V.) und arbeitet Europaweit.
Der Journalist hat das "Foundation" in unserem Namen in Stiftung gedeutet.
Daneben gab es einen zusätzlichen Verein mit dem Namen "Free Software Foundation - Chapter Germany", der sich gerade in Auflösung befindet. Die Hintergründe dazu gibt es auf http://blogs.fsfe.org/mk/dissolving-our-association/
