In der Pflegebranche ist bezüglich IT aber nicht viel Sachverstand vorhanden. Insbesondere die politisch und akademisch aktiven Pflegeleute sind eher 50+ mit dem dazugehörigen geringen Einblick in die Thematik. Es ist also extrem intensive Propaganda notwendig, um hier Zustimmung generieren zu können.
Das unterscheidet die Pflegebranche nicht viel von den meisten anderen Branchen. :/
Nun war meine Überlegung, eine Art offenen Brief zu formulieren, welcher die besonderen Risiken und Verantwortungen dieser Datenspeicherung mit sich bringt, die diversen Vorteile von Freier Software usw. mit anpreist usw. Evtl. kann ich sogar noch eine handvoll Mitunterzeichner gewinnen.

Grundsätzlich würde mich interessieren, was Ihr von der Idee und dem Ansatz haltet.
Finde ich gut. Zu verlieren gibt es ja erst mal nichts und als Investition besteht für den Moment nur das Schreiben des Briefes und die PR dafür (u.U. mehr Arbeit als das Schreiben).
Es kann aber auch sein, dass ein nicht-öffentliches Schreiben effektiver ist. Kennst Du die entsprechenden Personen, die diese Entscheidungen zu fällen haben?
Wenn man diese Stellen auf die Problematik und die Chancen hinweist und gleichzeitig die FSFE als Ansprechpartner anbietet, gibt man den Verantwortlichen Menschen die Gelegenheit sich mit unserer Hilfe zu informieren ohne sie mit einer PR-Lawine zu "attakieren" und in Zugzwang zu bringen.
Sollte keine Resonanz kommen, steht der Weg des offenen Briefes immer noch offen.
Freie Software & Co ist für mich so selbstverständlich wie das Atmen. Daher fällt es mir immer schwer, in Worte zu fassen, warum wir das überhaupt benötigen. ;) Gibt es eine Art Argumentationsleitfaden hierzu?

Es gibt da sicher noch mehr, aber das ist was mir auf Anhieb eingefallen ist.
Natürlich ist mir bewusst, dass es mit einem simplen Brief nicht getan ist. Das wäre nur der Anfang und würde viel Überzeugungsarbeit etc. nach sich ziehen. Genau deshalb bin ich mir auch noch nicht sicher, ob ich das stemmen möchte.
Kennst Du denn irgendwelche Mitstreiter in der Branche? Sind hier welche zugegen?

Danke für den Tip. Aber das ist ein KIS (KrankenhausInformationsSystem) - also eine sog. elektronische Patientenakte mit allen Extras.
Das hat mit einem Berufsregister erst mal nix zu tun. Geil wäre natürlich eine Vorschrift die Freie Software grundsätzlich zur Pflicht macht im Gesundheitswesen. ;) Man darf ja mal träumen...
