Geogebra ist eine Software für das Schulfach Mathematik, sie kann in Analysis und Geometrie eingesetzt werden. Wird auf meiner Schule auch von einigen Lehrern eingesetzt, allerdings - wie zu erwarten - auf Windows 7. Das beste ist ja, dass man sich über die schlechte Performance von Windows 7 beklagt, während man Linux-Umgebungen wie Debian Edu nicht verwendet. Als ich den Administrator (~60 Jahre) einmal gefragt habe, warum er Windows einsetzt (auch auf dem Server), antwortete er, er sei mit ausschließlich Windows aufgewachsen und habe daher sich auch noch nie mit etwas anderem auseinandergesetzt. Allerdings möchte er eine Umgebung mit Debian Edu auf alten Geräten zumindest einmal ausprobieren. Der Ansatz "Ermutigen, über den Tellerrand zu schauen" würde hier zumindest etwas erreichen. Und die Schulleitung wäre in meinem Fall auch nicht so schwer dafür zu gewinnen, da hier einzig und allein die Kosten ausschlaggebend sind. Und alle Lehrer auf Fortbildung (nicht einmal zwangsläufig notwendig, bei denen, die auch mit Windows jetzt nicht klar kommen kann man es sich sowieso sparen, und andere kommen auch ohne Fortbildung damit klar) + u.U. eine externe Unterstützung beim Ausrollen kommt günstiger als ein Satz für Windows ausreichend leistungsfähige Hardware + Windows OEM Lizenzen + u.U. neuer Server + den Arbeitsaufwand und die Stromkosten zum Verteilen. was ist Geigebra für eine Software? Wenn ich nach Geigebra in der Suchmaschine meiner Wahl suche, dann finde ich nur Geogebra[1], welches durchaus für den Einsatz mit Linux geeignet ist.
Das Produkt hört sich danach an, das es etwas mit Musik zu tun hat? Gibt es hierzu weitere Informationen? Es würde mich interessieren, welchem Zweck die Software dienen soll.
