Kaj če bi v Sloveniji naredili prvo gimnazijo, ki deluje izključno na odprti kodi. Prehod cca leto dni do 2012, podpora COKSa, FSFEja, FIŠa, mislim, da bi v Ljutomeru hitro slišali na to. Okrog namotamo:
V Murski Soboti je okoli leta 1999 bilo točno to. Računalnico je vodil prof. dr. Renato Lukač, velik velik linux navdušenec; spisal je celo priročnik za uporabo linuxa (cat, vi, xinit - še pomnite :), organiziral poletno šolo, v računalnici uporabljal linux za strežnike - the whole nine yards. Žal jo je potem popihal na doktorski (ali celo postdoc) v Anglijo in smo dobili enega Windows navdušenca z ljubeznijo do slabih madžarskih sirupov. Windows NT server 4.0 na strežnikih, NT 3.51 pa na 15 MB client kištah (potrebe samo OS-a so bile takrat 70 mb, kje so šele aplikacije). Ukvarjal se je v glavnem z brisanjem wareza z naših folderjev in poučevanjem MS Worda.
Tisto je bil najbolj epic test v zgodovini testov. V 30 minutah (profesor je prišel 15 minut pozen na preverjanje znanja) smo morali v Wordu 7.0 narediti toliko editov, kot jih tajnica s 5-letnimi izkušnjami ne bi zmogla v pol delovnega dneva. Še nekaj dragocenih minut je pobralo shranjevanje na diskete, oh ta tako znani ropot. Nekako sem uspel dobiti oceno 3, in se s tem uvrstiti med tistih 5 srečnežev, ki niso padli testa. Sošolka pogrnila že po definiciji, ker se je med omenjenim 15 min čakanjem nesrečnica bila naslonila na tipko ENTER, nakar se je zagnalo 200 kopij worda. Restart ji je pobral več kot 5 minut. Kakšen teden potem so sicer starši naredili kažin in bil test razveljavljen, a vseeno.
Back to topic -- kot že drugi pišete, so šole zdaj za 3 leta pečene. Usmeriti bi se kazalo na prostovoljne vsebine za učence, oz. na lobiranje za naslednji cikel. -i
