Hi there,
I'm looking forward to this week, hopefully see some of you at the
planning night on Monday.
There's been quite a lot of movement in the different local ORG groups
towards doing Cryptoparties which is great. I've done a bit of a blog
post about resources here from the perspective of FLOSS Manuals.
http://www.flossmanuals.org/news/floss-manuals-content-being-used-cryptopar…
and people are putting up some general data to share our experiences and
resources here - https://wiki.openrightsgroup.org/wiki/Cryptoparty -
your experiences / observations would be very welcome
to register see

I wanted to ask again if there are people on this list who are up for
helping on the day. I had a quick chat with Tom this morning and we are
thinking of the following tools.
* Encrypt email - gpg / enigmail
* OTR - pidgin
* Hide your data - Truecrypt
* Safer browsing - TOR and firefox plugins (maybe vpn)
Now, we know everything will be alright on the night, all the
ingredients are there, but because it's a shorter session, it would be
ideal if we had at least one person for each of the above who people can
cluster around so things get rolling smoothly.
If you can help in anyway just shout to me or Tom.
nice one
Mick
