A family member who is coming has offered to bake some for free - she has her own cake baking business.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Mick,

Anna is the one to speak to about the budget as she was sorting the flyers and then was planning on spending any excess on food and drinks for the day, so perhaps you could suggest to spend it on travel costs instead?

I'm not sure how much the flyers cost in total, so she'd be the one to speak to about how much is left of that budget too.

It definitely sounds like a worthy cause to spend the money on though!

Cheers,
Olivia

Hi there.

Another thing coming out out the Book Fair.
I was talking to a woman called Rachel who saw the flyers at the Fair
and was very interested.

She is running a training programme with refugees from Zimbabwe . She
said what they really wanted to do instead of campaigning was to find
out how to send and receive the communications securely.

She asked if we could pay travel expenses for people that applied for it
and I thought that this was a good idea.
I know this makes a big difference from having run training sessions for
refugee communities before.

So a couple of questions,
How much do we have left of the budget after printing costs?
Would people support allocating that to a travel fund for people that
apply? (I would be a contact point)

nice one
Mick
