Hi all

There isn’t a regular 1st Monday Bitcoin Manchester meetup this month, as there’s a special event this Friday (7th November) to launch the new SatoshiPoint Bitcoin ATM in Manchester. This is Manchester’s first 2-way Bitcoin ATM which mean you can both buy and sell bitcoins for cash at the machine.

The event has two parts!

# 6:00pm Bitcoin ATM Launch at CellCity

SatoshiPoint’s Bitcoin ATM is located in CellCity, at 67 Piccadilly, opposite Costa Coffee. You can find them on a map here[1].

To promote Bitcoin in Manchester, SatoshiPoint are generously giving away FREE BITCOIN! Get there early to Catch the giveaway! If you don’t have a Bitcoin wallet yet, don’t worry - Bitcoin Manchester organisers Ash & Max will help you set one up on your smartphone.

Although this isn’t a regular meetup, as it’s become tradition now, Bitcoin Manchester will be sponsoring FREE PIZZA! As always, this will be provided by one of the Bitcoin-accepting Takeaway.com vendors.

After everyone has had a chance to use the Bitcoin ATM, the launch party will move to Allotment Bar, which is not far round the corner. You can find them on a map here[2].

SatoshiPoint is sponsoring the bar at this week’s Silicon Drinkabout (a regular Friday social). This means there will be FREE BEER too! Come along and enjoy a few drinks with fellow Bitcoiners and other members of the local tech community.
