I want now to ask you if the Italian group of FSFE could get involve in the follow-up work, and if so who would volunteer to take this in charge. It would then be great if you could contact the LUG Scandiano (once the time comes to do so) in order to work with them in the follow up work.
just to get a better idea, what would the second phase of the work consist of? basically, just collecting e-mail addresses, translating the texts and coordinating a mass-mailing forward, right?
Or do you want us to bring forward negotiations individually with the web-admins (in case they'd answer)?
During the current phase of the campaign, we are already gathering the institutions and their postal address. - From the 18th October, we will make a model letter available to be sent to the institutions. The idea is then indeed to translate the document and to send the letter with the petition (already available in Italian [1]) to the institutions. When (/if) the institutions reply, we would have to provide them with sufficient answers or advice on how to best improve their websites (a FAQ is currently being drafted in this purpose). We think that this part of the work would be much more efficient if it were done first in the official language of the insitution, in your case Italian and second from local actors, that's why we think that it would be great to involve the LUG (and also because else it would represent a huge amount of work at once for the Italian team... :) )
Anyway, I'd offer some help here.
Thank you ;)
I hope I answered your questions. Should there still be some unclear points, please don't hesitate to ask !
Best regards
Maëlle Costa
