1. La FSFE y Digicomp anuncian un curso sobre licencias de Software Libre.
La academia suiza Digicomp ofrece cursos sobre licencias de Software Libre impartidos por Shane Coughlan, coordinador de la Freedom Task Force de la FSFE. Los cursos están dirigidos a gestores de proyectos, desarrolladores y técnicos que deseen adquirir conocimientos sobre opciones de distribución de código y también ofrecen ejemplos prácticos de cómo integrar el Software Libre en modelos de negocio. Estos cursos tendrán lugar por primera vez el 25 y 26 de junio y se ofrecerán cursos adicionales el 10 y 11 de septiembre y el 10 y 11 de diciembre de 2007. Puede encontrar más información aquí:

2. LibreMeeting 2007 en Miraflores, España.
La organización asociada de la FSFE en España, la Fundación Conocimiento Libre, ha organizado el LibreMeeting 2007, el primer encuentro internacional sobre Conocimiento Libre de Madrid. Georg Greve presentó la FSFE y Ciarán O'Riordan habló sobre la GPLv3.
3. La FSFE en eLiberatica 2007 en Rumanía.
Brasov, Rumanía, en el corazón de Transilvania fue el lugar elegido por la comunidad rumana de Software Libre para su conferencia eLiberatica 2007 para intercambiar conocimientos y crear conciencia sobre el Software Libre en Rumanía. El presidente de la FSFE Georg Greve dio una de las charlas sobre Estándares Libres y libre competencia y participó en el panel sobre el futuro de la regulación del conocimiento.
4. Richard Stallman en Suecia.

5. Reunión de ConfSL, LUGConf y Fellowship en Consenza, Italia.
La comunidad italiana de Software Libre se reunió en Cosenza en tres eventos simultáneos: el ConfSL2007, el LUGConf y un encuentro de Fellowship. En total todos disfrutaron de tres días de charlas, seminarios y diversión. Stefano Maffulli y Shane Coughlan representaron a la FSFE y en la LUGConf Marco de Rossi presentó el nuevo grupo Milan Advocacy.

6. Linuxtag en Berlín
Como en años anteriores, la FSFE participó con un puesto en el Linuxtag en Berlín, donde miembros de la FSFE y voluntarios informaron sobre Software Libre y contestaron montones de preguntas.
7. Gira de Linuxwochen por Austria.
«Linuxwochen» es el nombre de una serie de eventos en Austria que tiene lugar cada año en torno a mayo. Este año, la FSFE participó en Eisenstadt, Graz y Viena.
8. Las donaciones ya son desgravables en Suiza.
La FSFE se complace en anunciar que a partir de ahora las donaciones son desgravables en Suiza después de haber sido reconocida por las autoridades del cantón de Zúrich, donde está la sede de las oficinas suizas de la FSFE, como organización de interés general.
