Un mois, une campagne, un objectif : se débarrasser des publicités pour des logiciels non libres sur les sites web publics. En quatre semaines, la FSFE a reçu des rapports concernant 2162 institutions européennes[1] qui promeuvent des lecteurs PDF non libres. en plus des 305 activistes qui ont pris part à la recherche d'institutions, 46 entreprises, 38 organisations et 1500 personnes à titre individuel ont signé notre Pétition pour le retrait des publicités pour des logiciels propriétaires des sites web publics[2]. Maintenant que la chasse est terminée, il est temps de pourchasser ces sites web qui encoragent leurs visiteurs à mettre leurs libertés en danger. Il est temps de nous affranchir des publicités !
Des bénévoles hautement motivés ont cherché les sites web publics qui promeuvent des lecteurs PDF non libres et ont signalé 2162 institutions[3]. Parmi eux, certains comme Massimo Barbieri et Lucas Bickel ont plus de 350 institutions à leur compte ! Alessandro Albini, Rainer Schmitz, et Pavel Kharitonov ont aussi fait une contribution remarquable en rapportant près de 50 institutions chacun.
Mais la FSFe ne va pas s'en tenir à une simple liste d'institutions. Dans les semaines à venir, la FSFE va envoyer des lettres aux institutions[4] pour attirer leur attention sur leur pratique publicitaire injuste. Au nom des signataires de la pétition[5], la FSFE va demander aux institutions de retirer de leurs sites web toute recommandation pour des logiciels non libres ou bien de donner le choix entre plusieurs programmes.
