1. Conférence GPLv3 à Barcelone
La Free Software Foundation Europe a organisé la troisième conférence internationale sur la GPLv3 à Barcelone, en Espagne. La première des deux journées a été marquée par des interventions de Georg Greve, Richard Stallman, Ciarán O'Riordan et Eben Moglen sur les modifications de la GPLv3 et la procédure de consultation publique. Le second jour ont eu lieu quatre tables rondes, complétées par un discours de Pablo Machón au sujet des brevets logiciels et par une présentation de clôture par Stefano Maffulli.
Il était très important d'héberger en Europe une conférence officielle sur la GPLv3 et la FSFE est fière d'avoir pu l'organiser. La contribution financière de la Fellowship et le travail des fellows et autres volontaires ont été essentiels pour rendre possible cette conférence. En outre la FSFE voudrait remercier Stichting NLNet dont la contribution soutient une large part des activités sur la GPLv3.

2. La FSFE au PCDA/2 de l'OMPI
L'Organisation Mondiale des Nations Unies pour la Propriété Intellectuelle (OMPI) a tenu à Genève, en Suisse, la seconde réunion du comité temporaire sur les propositions relatives à un agenda de développement de l'OMPI. Cette réunion était la dernière avant la prochaine assemblée générale de l'OMPI et avait pour but de formaliser les points à l'ordre du jour pour une réforme de l'OMPI. Après plusieurs jours de discussion, une proposition pour abandonner tous les points à l'exception de ceux immédiatement acceptables pour les États-Unis et l'Union Européenne a provoqué une escalade et a mené à la dissolution complète de la réunion. 3. Anja Vorspel engagée à temps partiel pour aider dans le bureau de la FSFE
Grâce à Rainer Kersten, le nouveau bureau de la FSFE à Düsseldorf est en service. Rainer travaille à temps partiel et est rejoint, à temps partiel également, par Anja Vorspel. Anja a déjà apporté son aide en tant que volontaire dans le nouveau bureau dès ses débuts.
4. Georg Greve au dorkbot.swiss
Le président de la FSFE Georg Greve s'est exprimé au dorkbot.swiss à Zurich, en Suisse. La manifestation dorkbot fait partie d'un réseau global d'événements autour du thème « Faire des choses étranges avec l'électricité », rassemblant des artistes d'horizons divers et des personnes intéressées. Georg Greve a parlé du Logiciel Libre, de son impact social et de la manière dont le Logiciel Libre modèle l'art et offre de nouvelles perspectives pour le travail artistique.
5. Linuxwochen à Linz (Autriche)
Après l'expérience positive de Vienne, Karin Kosina a également présenté la FSFE lors d'une autre édition des Linuxwochen, cette fois-ci à Linz. Bien que cette manifestation ait été plus petite, son intervention fut également très bien accueillie.
6. Stefano Maffulli à la Conférence Java à Milan
Durant la dernière Conférence Java à Milan le 27 juin, le chancelier de la section italienne de la FSFE a présenté la procédure de révision de la GPLv3 à un auditoire de petites et moyennes entreprises.
