Join the Fellowship and protect your Freedom!

The Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) is standing up 
to protect our freedom to shape, participate, and co-operate 
in an information society that respects liberty and privacy.
The resistance to software patents has shown that it is 
possible to change things. However, it has also shown that 
we need to do more.

The Fellowship directly supports the activities of FSFE.

The Fellowship of Free Software Foundation Europe provides 
an easy and effective opportunity to do more. With their 
contribution, Fellows empower FSFE to sustain and to strengthen 
their activities to put our common goals into practise.
Fellows themselves decide how much they can do. The 
suggested Fellowship contribution is 120 EUR per year 
(minimum 60 EUR).

The Fellowship is a community for digital freedom.

The Fellowship is a community of people united by their 
interest in Free Software and freedom in all aspects of 
the digital age, and who seek to change things for the 
better. It is the place where the Fellows of Free 
Software Foundation Europe meet, where professionals and 
interested parties come together to share ideas, collaborate 
on projects, and inform each other about what is
going on in the world of Free Software.

- Every Fellow receives an @fsfe.org email address, a 
visible sign of his affiliation to the Free 
Software Foundation Europe.
- Every Fellow receives a personal login and customisable 
home page on fsfe.org, where he may write blogs and keep up 
to date with news.
- Every Fellow receives access to our instant messaging 
system, through which he can meet other Fellows to co-operate 
and exchange experiences.
- As a highlight, every Fellow receives a unique personalised 
OpenPGP crypto-card, putting him at the spearhead of those 
who are aware of issues of privacy, security and digital 
self-determination. Using this card, Fellows can logon and 
communicate securely and privately.

The Fellowship is the easiest and most direct way to get 
involved and to become part of the work of the Free 
Software Foundation Europe.

Your participation in a digital society in the future

and to work are worth defending, as are your abilities 
to freely read, write and use software. Those who take 
these freedoms for granted are destined to lose them.

Fellows of the Free Software Foundation Europe help defend these
freedoms and build a society based on freedom and equality. 
Fellows stand together and communicate through the Fellowship 
portal, Jabber and their <you>@fsfe.org email address.

Joining the Fellowship

When you join, your contribution of EUR 120 per year 
(minimum EUR 60) will help sustain the work of the 
FSFE, and with your personalised Fellowship crypto 
card you will be able to protect your own freedom, and
visibly display how you help protect the freedom of others.
