Hello everybody,
I'm Tilman the new intern in Berlin. I'm very happy to be able to work with the FSFE for the upcoming three months. My internship is also part of my bachelor course of studies (applied informatics) at the 'University of applied science' in Berlin-Schöneweide. In December I'm going to write my thesis.
Originated from the Southern Germany, I live in Berlin for 8 years now, sharing a flat with my girlfriend. Beside computers, I'm also interested in traveling, music and of course spending a good time with friends.
I chose the FSFE because I think free software is very important to the world, to not let us loose control over our technical devices and to give fair chances to everybody to participate. The situation at the moment shows that the advantages need to be spread further on. FSFE plays an important role here.
During my first week at the office in Berlin I learned about the structure of the organization and set up my computers and various accounts I need. I'll upload the initial commit to the new DFD-website very soon, but keep in mind that our office will move next week and we have to invest time on that too.
Again, I'm very pleased to be part of the team!
So long,
Tilman Beck
