Das ist der Stand der Dinge bezüglich unseres Auftritts bei den Informatiktagen
Zürich 2019:

Nichts mit Informatiktagen, sondern Zusammenarbeit mit Digicomp.
Ich hoffe, ich habe in eurem Sinne geantwortet. Bitte lasst mich wissen, ob das
für euch ok ist; dann können wir mit Digicomp weiterplanen.

Ich meine, wir haben uns bei einer der früheren Veranstaltung schon einmal
kennengelernt.
So wie es aussieht, wird es wohl in diesem Jahr nichts mit den Informatiktagen
für uns. Daher gefällt mir Ihr Vorschlag, einen Workshop bei Digicomp
durchzuführen, sehr gut.
Unsere Anforderungen sehen folgendermassen aus:
- - Schulungsraum mit PC-Arbeitsplätzen
- - Die Grösse des Raums richtet sich natürlich nach der Nachfrage
- - Dauer des Workshops: 2-4 Stunden, da richten wir uns nach Ihnen, bzw. werden
die Inhalte noch im Detail ausarbeiten
- - Da wir mit fünf Personen antreten können, ist es möglich 20-25 Teilnehmer im
Workshop zu betreuen
- - Für das Thema 'Selfhosting' benötigen wir einen Server, auf den alle
Teilnehmer Zugriff haben. Diesen können wir entweder selbst mitbringen oder
einen Ihrer Server verwenden. Die technischen Details können wir später klären.
- - Die FSFE-ZH verfolgt keine finanziellen Ziele; evtl. stellen wir ein
Sparschwein für Spenden auf :)
Ich bin der Überzeugung, dass das Thema 'Selfhosting' viele Leute ansprechen
wird und kann mir daher auch eine Wiederholung des Workshops gut vorstellen.

Liebe FSFE'ler
Leider habe ich schlechte Nachrichten bezüglich unserer Teilnahme bei den
Informatiktagen 2019 in Zürich. Die Organisatoren (siehe unten auf dieser Seite:
https://informatiktage.ch/partnerdokumentation/) haben mich bei einem Telefonat
auf EB (Erwachsenenbildung Zürich) verwiesen, weil wir bereits zweimal mit denen
zusammengearbeitet haben. Daher habe ich heute mit Christian Flury von EB
telefoniert. Sie nehmen in diesem Jahr nicht bei der Veranstaltung teil. Der
Grund dafür ist das völlig andere Setup des Events als in den Vorjahren (könnt
ihr euch selbst auf der Seite von Informatiktage durchlesen). Zwischen den
Zeilen war zu hören, dass ihm das Konzept überhaupt nicht gefällt.
Nichtsdestotrotz findet er uns gut und möchte im nächsten Jahr (dann soll alles
wieder normal sein) gerne wieder mit uns zusammenarbeiten.
Jetzt bin ich etwas ratlos. Unseren Inhalt (Selfhosting, Nextcloud, usw.) finde
ich sehr gut; damit sprechen wir bestimmt viele Leute an. Allein fehlt mir eine
Idee, wie wir da hineinkommen können. Die Teilnahmegebühr für Firmen und
Organisationen beträgt 750 CHF (250 CHF für Startups). Da wir selbst sicher
nicht als Partner auftreten können, bliebe nur die Möglichkeit, bei einem der
Partner unterzuschlüpfen. Die Partner sind jedoch nicht bekannt und ich gehe
davon aus, dass dieses ihren eigenen Kram präsentieren möchten.
Ich werde nochmal mit den Organisatoren telefonieren um zu hören, ob man sich
irgendwo anhängen kann, mache mir aber keine grosse Hoffnung. Das ganze Ding hat
für mein Empfinden in diesem Jahr einen zu kommerziellen Touch, der eher nicht
zu uns passt.
Ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden und bin natürlich für Ideen offen.

Hallo alle,
wir sind schon mitten in der Fundraising-Phase und werden nächste Woche dazu
sowohl einen News-item veröffentlichen, als auch eine Mail an unsere supporter
und ex-supporter schreiben.
Dabei dachten wir uns, es wäre super, wir könnten eine Mail gezielt an die
Supporter in der Schweiz senden. Darin könnten wir auf Freedomvote zu sprechen
kommen als nächstes großes Projekt im Schweizer Team und darauf hinweisen,
dass das PMPC Video in den drei meistgesprochenen Sprachen der Schweiz
verfügbar ist.
Hätte da jemand oder mehrere von euch Lust an einem Draft in einem Pad zu
schreiben, den wir dann gemeinsam finalisieren können? Ihr habt schließlich
auch am meisten Einblicke, was bei Freedomvote ansteht : )
