OS X grundsätzlich als unfrei zu definieren, geht mir etwas zu weit. Im Rahmen des Darwin-Projektes stellt Apple eine grosse Zahl von Eigenentwicklungen unter einer Freien Lizenz zur Verfügung. Siehe auch: http://www.opensource.apple.com
Ok. Habe es raus genommen. Wie sieht es mit dem iPhone OS aus?
Ganz weglassen würde ich es schon nicht. AFAIK ist OS X 10 closed source (GUI), wobei einfach einige Komponenten (z.B. Darwin) offen sind.
Ich bin grundsätzlich kein grosser Freund von Vergleichen. Nach dem Motto nutzt GNU/Linux weil Windows / OS X böse ist.
Die Vorteile von Freier Software herauszustreichen ist wichtig, das sollte aber auch ohne einen Vergleich gut gehen.
