Hallo miteinander
Der Heise Artikel trifft es m.M. ganz gut: Umstieg auf Linux. Ich bin gegen FLOSS auf prop. OSes und für FLOSS auf Linux; wenn schon denn schon. Meine Erfahrung zeigt, dass sich gerade Senioren auf Linux viel wohler fühlen als auf Windows oder Mac-OS. Senioren sind weniger vom Mainstream oder von Hypes geprägt als Jugendliche oder Mittelalter.
Für einen Event, der FLOSS auf Windows oder Mac-OS zeigt, bin ich nicht zu haben. Für eine Veranstaltung, die Umsteigewilligen zeigt wie man unter Linux mit FLOSS fast alles einfacher, sicherer und freier/privater machen kann, bin ich für viele Vortragsthemen bereit.

Ich kann über die Qualität nichts sagen. Mitgeliefert wird ein Ubuntu 16.04
Dementsprechend sollten wir unsere Inhalte ausrichten. Wir haben ja darüber geredet, dass all die unterschiedlichen Distributionen und Desktop Environments für den Linux Neuling keine Rolle spielen, sondern ihn gleich sehr schnell überfordern.
