Ich schreibe dieses Mail, um uns zu entscheiden, wo wir eine Veranstaltung machen möchten.
Ich sehe zwei Möglichkeiten im Moment.
1. Ubucon (oder anderer Name) bei Digicomp in Basel an einem Samstag mit max. 30 Teilnehmern (ein Raum) incl. Futter.
2. Linux Day Schweiz bei der LUGS in Zürich am 30. April Wieviele Leute passen da rein? (Axel?)
Bitte gebt Feedback, für welche Möglichkeiten Ihr Euch entscheiden würdet. Es könnten auch neue Möglichkeiten eingebracht werden, aber bedenkt, dass wir möglichst bald eine Entscheidung treffen müssen.

Gute Frage. Der Veranstaltungsraum letztes Mal war das Foyer von Revamp-IT. Es ist das Foyer einer ehemaligen ZKB-Filiale und recht geräumig. Wir hatten Stehtische und Sofas plus Tische mit ca. 'nem Dutzend Demogeräten und Sitzgelegenheiten davor.
Stehend passend da sicher mehr als 30 Leute rein, sitzend sicher weniger.
Wir hatten vor den Sofas auch 'ne Leinwand mit Beamer. Aber für 'n Event mit Vorträgen ist das Foyer vermutlich nicht so doll geeignet wegen zu wenig Sitzgelegenheiten. Auch wenn wir das mit dem LPD kombinieren wollen, sind allzuviel Vorträge parallel im selben Raum auch nicht die beste Idee.
Selbst wenn wir vom CCCZH deren Treffraum dazu nehmen, werden's nicht so viele Plätze wie bei Digicomp: Der Treffraum vom CCCZH hat knappe 20 Sitzplätze an Tischen, der Rest (nochmal 10 oder so) sind Sofas. (Beamer und Leinwand sind dort ebenfalls vorhanden.)
Sprich:
* Wenn das Event primär Vorträge in einem oder mehreren Tracks haben soll, ist vermutlich Digicomp die bessere Idee.
* Wenn der Fokus mehr messe- oder ausstellungsartig sein soll, ist eine Anbindung an den LPD vermutlich eine gute Synergie.
* Und wenn's mehr um Geselligkeit gehen soll, sind die Sofas bei Revamp-IT oder CCCZH sicher von Vorteil. :-)
Ich schreib die Tage sowieso noch 'ne Mail bzgl. LPD 2016.1 allgemein am 30.4. an die potentiell beteiligten Gruppen um zu schauen, wer wieder dabei ist und um die Location festzunageln.

Grüezi Herr Hersel Gerne können wir über ein Sponsoring reden. Vorab müssten wir jedoch ungefähr wissen, mit wievielen Teilnehmern Sie rechnen sowie an welchem Datum Sie genau den Event planen?
